Part Three –<br>I opened the door and this time we spoke for a while. Inside my head, the plan I had kept repeating itself. “I have an idea how to solve this,” I whispered, and then walked into the bedroom.<br>I undressed, slowly and deliberately, knowing I was offering the last thing I had left. When I returned to him naked, I stood there determined to pay with my body.<br>His eyes didn’t move. He accepted my offer without a word. But soon I realized it wouldn’t be as I had imagined. He took more than I expected, more than I had been ready to give. Something I had wanted to save for another time was gone in a single moment.<br>When it was over, I was left exhausted, feeling empty and unsettled. The offer had been made, and he had taken it—and I understood that from now on, this would happen again. Week after week, unless I found another way out.<br>I lay there quietly, and only one question echoed in my mind: <i>What will happen next?</i>
